Hi! I’m Elif. I’m a digital marketing specialist who freelances as a culture writer and an aspiring film critic in her free time.
A little bit about me: I’m originally from Istanbul but have been residing in Berlin since 2018. I like to read, bake and listen to the original Broadway cast recordings in my free time. My favorite book is The Catcher in the Rye and my favourite musical is Merrily We Roll Along.
I am in the process of getting my master’s degree in media studies from the Humboldt University of Berlin and in between writing my master’s thesis, working part-time as a digital film marketer and trying to have some semblance of a social life I have successfully pitched and written articles for various online publications in topics ranging from the current state of online pop culture to upcoming film releases.
